Idle Debugger review
2

It's a short game, but it's not sweet at all.

The UI is basic, there's nothing nice but nothing wrong about it. When you click the "find a bug", you will find somewhat "relatable" bugs from software engineering, and get bugs from it. The problem is, you really only need to click it once to get upgrades that give bugs automatically. After that first click, this game turns into a braindead mashing upgrade game. And it'll only take a few minutes at best to finish.

..this is where i start dissecting the game's description (as of June 29), please take this with a mountain of salt and my informality.

NOTE: this game's description might be made using AI, but my rating stays the same. It has potential, it just hasn't.. shown any yet.

"Idle Debugger is a captivating idle game where you play as a software debugger tasked with finding and fixing bugs." -> it's not captivating, and it's not even idle because of how short it is.

"Dive into the code and unlock various upgrades to improve your debugging skills." -> the only dive is the click to find a bug button and half of them are bogus bugs. and if you dare click the "do not prompt me again" button, you can't dive anymore.

"Enjoy the relaxing idle gameplay while experiencing the satisfaction of squashing virtual bugs." -> it's not idle because of how short it is and the fact that you're forced to be active to blindly buy upgrades and keep up. it's not relaxing nor satisfying for the same reason.

"Play Idle Debugger now and test your prowess in the world of software debugging!" -> if you want to test your prowess, go to leetcode (or something similar), or create a new project and learn on the way.

The game is decent at best if you count the potential.
