CLICKPOCALYPSE II review
5

One of the classics of the genre. You choose a team of characters who run from dungeon to dungeon, cleaning out monsters, and then direct them to assault castles to liberate regions. Gameplay is fully automated; you can cast spells and drink potions, but all the fighting is done for you, and watching your team clear the randomly generated dungeons is strangely hypnotic, easily the best part of the game.

Prestiging lets you continue at higher levels or reset with a new party, both of which grant you a tiny bonus (starting with more skill points). The real meat of the game is in achievement hunting, and there's weeks of content in grinding through the list. (Tip: You will save a lot of endgame time if you include a Thief in every early party build; the automatic treasure chest opening progresses you toward the most tedious of the achievements. In midgame, though, you'll need to vary party composition to get some specific achievements, and near endgame you'll need to do solo runs with all of the classes.)
