It’s important to balance the game’s energy mechanics. Additionally, the current system of measuring days instead of hours needs fixing because it doesn’t make sense. For example, according to statistics I’ve spent 70,000 days equivalent to 200 years just to earn a few hundred bucks and level 2 surfing skills.
The relationship between work and energy is also confusing: I get 20 energy per day, but a job costs 20 energy and only gives me $40, even though the pay is listed as $120 per day. Does this mean I sleep 8 hours and work 4 hours? Or do I sleep 24 hours and work 4 hours? If I get more max energy, do I then sleep for 16 hours or 48 hours straight to work 8 hours?
A simple solution to both issues:
Make sleeping hour-based. One press equals one hour of sleep and gives, for example, 3 energy.
This would make energy management clearer and more logical while eliminating confusion about how energy and time function in the game.
