Very simple mechanics, watch your number reach goal. Read my tips below for a few ways to avoid the worst parts of the game.

I would recommend completing a few islands just to see everything the game has to offer. Seriously do not complete the game. Huge time walls are not worth it.

TIPS: once you prestige make sure to scroll down and upgrade. Then click on a few islands, read their descriptions before going there. Islands with the description "A beautiful tropical island" are by far the easiest. Other islands will not let you purchase animals, your delivery truck will have complications or you may need to collect more bananas. These make the time wall bigger. Not to mention at a certain point you have nothing more to interact with manually, you turn on a couple automators and wait to complete an island. Also after a few prestiges you can purchase all the upgrades, making the islands harder still (if you're reading the descriptions), but not increasing your productivity at all.
